About the Honda Fit W

The Honda Fit is a small 5-seater subcompact tall wagon. Though only introduced in the United States in 2006, it has already become a popular car among young buyers because of its low price and practicality. In the US, you can get a Fit for around $14,750 (manual) / $15,550 (automatic), and it gets an EPA estimated 28 MPG city / 35 MPG highway — with either the automatic or manual transmission. Unfortunately, we don't get the 1.3L engine from our GT4 car here in the states, which would cost less and see even greater efficiency.

Honda
Fit W in Iris Red PearlThe Honda Fit W we use for our competition is a Japanese model from 2001. It comes with a 1.3L engine and a CVT transmission, so our guests compete on equal footing and don't have to shift. And since we're nutty, we require our drivers to compete in a Fit painted in Iris Red Pearl, which isn't really like an iris or red, and is in fact a rather vivid pearlescent pink.
